My neighborhood water balloon sales venture turned lucrative when requests from multiple local youth groups caused me to employee my 8th grade friends. After realizing there wasn’t a long-term future in the water balloon industry, the insurance industry’s prioritization of relationships captivated my attention.

Life as a commercial lines producer gave me insight into the nuts & bolts of an independent agency; while my time in the association world has given me a 30,000 foot view of the industry.
