Agent for the Future offers insights and resources to independent insurance agents navigate the rapidly changing world of insurance and continue to win. The website started with an inaugural agent research report in 2017. Our resources and content have expanded a lot since then – we’ve published dozens of research reports and guides to emerging trends and more than 100 agent success stories and articles with advice from industry experts.

Who we are
Agent for the Future exists to help independent insurance agents succeed.
We firmly believe in the enduring value of independent agents. With their insurance expertise and relationships with carriers and clients, agents help customers understand their insurance needs and get the proper coverage to protect the things that matter most.
However, the marketplace and the insurance industry is rapidly evolving. The agencies that thrive in the future will be those who are willing to adapt and innovate. We created Agent for the Future to help with just that. We arm readers with research-backed insights, agent success stories and actionable advice to help agencies succeed now and in the future. We also created the Agent for the Future Awards to honor the most innovative, digitally savvy agents.
Agent for the Future is powered by Liberty Mutual, Safeco and State Auto Insurance, but the website and awards program are open to all agents and brokers, with the goal of moving the entire independent agency system forward.
