The State of Women in Independent Insurance Agencies report surveyed 374 US-based women working in independent agencies about their experiences working in insurance, the programs that most interested them, their thoughts about the gender pay gap, and more. The research was conducted online by in-house Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance research experts in September and October 2021. Survey respondents included independent agency principals, producers and CSRs, with some questions splitting out respondents by their role.
